Based in Chula Vista, California, Pro Comp Suspension started developing off-road suspensions in 1992. In 23 years, Pro Comp has developed a lot of product–– but it hasn’t been until the last few months that Pro Comp has caught our eye. With more in development, we have yet to see all the product that is up their sleeves for Toyota models. You might not know, but within the Pro Comp factory is a line of workers that come from the roots of Baja and trophy truck fabrication. Not only does Pro Comp design and develop their products in house, they also feature a full state of the art fabrication facility, which is where almost all Pro Comp Suspension products are made.
Pro Comp is the first to develop the long awaited long travel Tundra kit that meets the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS 126) Test. With a live driver and robotics attached to the Tundra, it withstood rigorous testing that mimic’d fast lane changes. The bottom line is: testing proves the Long Travel Kit is not only capable off road; it is a safe and reliable system for your Tundra on the road as well. Now you can have 14″ of travel, a 5″ wider stance and still take the kids to school.
Pro Comp is due to release the 2007-2015 Long Travel Toyota Tundra Suspension Kit this spring.
“Pro Comp is excited to gain FMVSS approval on this kit, as we are the first manufacturer of performance suspension to do so. We’re constantly striving for innovation and will continue to raise the industry standards in the name of performance and safety –– Pro Comp USA”. To get more detail and see a video click HERE!
