After one of the largest names in fuel containment went out of business just a few years ago, the market was left with a void. Would that void be filled? Inventor and creator Craig Wallin searched for not only the best fuel container, but something that was strong, lightweight, user friendly and made out of fade resistant plastic.
In 2007 RotopaX was born…but laid low until 2011. RotopaX then started to outgrow everything with help from Coby Cressall. In 2012 RotopaX moved to a warehouse down the street from where the product was produced. They quickly out grew that location and moved again in 2013. The business continues to grow at a rapid rate.
The name RotopaX comes from the process in which it is molded. Traditional means of manufacturing a fuel container is blow molding. In essence, plastic would be heated to temperature, and blown into a mold. RotopaX’s patented roto-molded products have distinct advantages over any blow-molded containers on the market today. Blow-molded products, such as cheap “gas cans,” are less expensive to produce, they tend to color fade, and are less durable. Because of RotopaX’s blood, sweat and tears, they are the only EPA and CARB Compliant Fuel containers available in the USA.
Over the years, RotopaX has had to refine the processes of rotational molding several times. The patented 3ply process is not only complicated in nature, it’s the only one of its kind. RotopaX believes that after 7 years, they have finally perfected the process. RotopaX prides itself on being the only fuel water and storage containers on the market that can stack and mount without bungee cords.
As your requirements change from day-to-day, RotopaX is the only system that gives you the freedom to mix and match your packs at will. If you need a different pack in the future, you can easily merge it into your existing RotopaX system. Now that’s innovation!
