Longfield™ Suzuki Jimny JB33/43 Rear Axle Kit
Big tires and low range gears often lead to broken rear axles. If you are worried about breaking your stock rear axle shafts, these Longfield™ rear axle shafts are the perfect solution. The Longfield™ Rear Axle Shafts are made out of forged 4340 chromoly steel and are built to withstand the harshest trails. New axle studs and Longfield™ axle decals are included.
Additional Parts Needed: You will need new bearing retainers when installing this kit. We recommend that you purchase and install new rear axle bearings, retainers, and seals when installing this kit.
Universal Axle Trusses By Trail-Gear
Many customers like to source axles from salvage yards, but they often have trouble identifying what model of axle they have. We’ve taken the guesswork out of reinforcing your salvaged axles with our Universal Axle Truss. Our Universal Axle Truss is laser cut from 1/4” A36 steel and precision formed. The truss is then fully boxed and welded for maximum strength and rigidity. This truss will fit GM 14-bolt, Dana 44, Dana 60, Ford 8.8”, Ford 9”, Chrysler 8.25”, Toyota Land Cruiser, and most other light truck and SUV axles with 3” [76mm] or 3.5” [89mm] OD axle tubes.
Weld-on Attachment Point, 1/2″
Trail-Gear’s Weld-On Attachment Points are laser cut in-house from A36 steel. They come in two different fitments – one coped on the bottom so it can be welded onto a 1.75″ tube; the other with a flat bottom that can be welded to plate, tubing, or any other flat surface. Both Weld-On Attachment Points are 1/2″ thick and feature a 1/2” hole that works with 7/16” D-rings. Perfect for use with suspension winches or as cargo tie-down points.
Side Axle Shock Mounts
These shock mounts are laser cut and formed in our own facility. They are 1/4” thick HRP&O steel with 1/2” mounting holes. The tab is shipped un-welded so you can place it to the desired mounting width of the shock you are using. They’re designed to be welded to 3” or 3.5” axle housing.
